Before the season, The Eagle asked fans to vote on the 20 greatest Thunder players for 20 seasons. We'll introduce one per week through the regular season.

No. 16: Sebastien Laplante

Bobby Desjardins is the unquestioned No. 1 goalie in franchise history. A confident player with a flair for the dramatic, Laplante is in the conversation for second best. He commonly made spectacular saves, and he was capable of winning games almost single handedly.

In three seasons with the Thunder, beginning in 2005-06, he went 52-37-12. His saves percentages were .917, .928 and .914. The .928 SP is a franchise record, and Laplante was twice named team MVP.

What are your memories of Leplante? Should he have been ranked higher?
