The Wings’ road swing through the Major Indoor Soccer League’s eastern cities continues Saturday with a noon game against the Rochester Lancers.
Rochester is 4-4 and in the middle of the MISL’s seven-team standings. Wichita (2-5) is in seventh.
Rochester features two of the league’s top three scorers. Forward Doug Miller has a league-high 16 goals to go with four assists, while teammate Mauricio Salles has nine goals and a league-best 10 assists.
The Wings continue to re-tool their offense after the addition of forwards Matt Clare and Andre Berenzon. Clare had three goals, including two three-pointers, in Wichita’s 12-10 overtime win at Syracuse on Dec. 8.
The Wings return to Hartman Arena next Friday night to face the Missouri Comets in Wichita’s first home game since Nov. 23.
