St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - Jon Jay took one for the team Tuesday and the Reds lost another one because of its bullpen.

J.J. Hoover plunked Jay with the bases loaded to push across the deciding run as the Cardinals earned a 5-4 win in walk-off fashion.

Jay went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and the winning RBI for St. Louis, which has won six of its last seven games, including a 10-inning victory in the opener of this three-game series.
