Zach Cargill threw a complete-game two-hitter to help Cowley College advance in the Region VI tournament at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium on Sunday night.
The Washington, Okla., native allowed a first-inning run then blanked Seward County the rest of the way in a 10-1 victory.
All games were pushed back by early Sunday showers.
Hutchinson defeated Butler Community College 9-8 in the first game.

Cowley and Hutchinson will play today at 3 p.m. with the winner getting a berth in the final.
Butler and Seward will battle at noon today with the loser being eliminated.
Because of the rains, the championship has been moved to Tuesday with the first championship at 9 a.m.
If a second game is needed, it will begin at noon.
The Region VI winner will advance to the Juco World Series at Grand Junction, Colo.
Cowley's second-hole hitter Chance Ross amassed four hits, including two doubles.
Derik Grimes, a transfer from Jacksonville, got three hits for Cowley and drove in two runs.
Catcher Rey Otero also got three hits and drove in two runs.
