Hofstra: The Pride, 21-11 last year, will be playing a top-ranked team for the first time. Jenkins is the 10th leading returning scorer in the country. He won the Haggerty Award last season as the top player in the New York metro area.

Kansas: Coach Bill Self said Thursday that senior guard Mario Little will redshirt this season and that sophomore guard Travis Releford is still thinking it over and will inform Self of his decision at some point today. Self said that redshirt freshman guard C.J. Henry is unlikely to play tonight due to a knee injury.
