Horsey remains on top in Moscow

David Horsey fired a 7-under 65 on Thursday and grabbed a 1-stroke lead after the opening round of the Russian Open.

Moscow, Russia (SportsNetwork.com) - David Horsey carded a 4-under 68 on Friday to remain on top of the leaderboard after two rounds of the Russian Open.

Horsey, who is seeking his third career win on the European Tour, finished 36 holes at Tseleevo Golf & Polo Club at 11-under-par 133.

Thomas Pieters also shot 68 to move into second place at 9-under, while Peter Whiteford (71) and Gary Boyd (68) shared third at minus-7.

Scott Jamieson (72), Nacho Elvira (69), Maximilian Kieffer (71) and Gaganjeet Bhullar (71) are tied for fifth at 6-under 138.
