No. 17 Hutchinson (6-3) at No. 2 Fort Scott (9-0), 1:30 p.m. —The Greyhounds made quick work of the Blue Dragons in their regular-season matchup, a 31-0 trouncing at Fort Scott when Hutchinson was ranked No. 3 in the country. Coming off a historic win over Butler, the Greyhounds have a clear path to the national title game, which could very well be the Citizens Bank Bowl in Pittsburg on Dec. 6. Hutchinson had to beat Garden City in the regular-season finale just to qualify for playoffs.
No. 16 Coffeyville (6-3) at No. 8 Butler (7-2) —The Grizzlies won't be winning a third straight national title, but there's no bigger carrot-on-a-stick for Butler then a possible rematch with Fort Scott in the Region VI title game. Aside from the Greyhounds, Coffeyville has been the biggest story in the Jayhawk this year, rebounding from a disastrous start to make the playoffs after missing out last season. Red Ravens' coach Darian Dulin might snatch coach of the year honors away from Fort Scott's Jeff Sims.
