BASEBALL

Kansas State secured a berth in this week's Big 12 Tournament with a 5-4 win over Kansas on Saturday in Manhattan. The Wildcats (26-27, 10-16 Big 12) moved into seventh place in the conference, one game ahead of KU (30-26, 9-17). By taking the first two games of the season-ending series, K-State assured itself of a higher seed even if the Jayhawks win today's finale in Manhattan. KU needs either a win or an Oklahoma loss to Oklahoma State today to claim the eighth and final spot for the tournament...
