Wichita State will send 25 athletes to the NCAA West preliminaries track and field meet in Austin.
Nikki Larch-Miller will compete in three events — the 100 meters, the 100 hurdles and the 400 relay. Twin sister Taylor Larch-Miller will run on the relay team and in the 100 hurdles.
The meet takes place May 25-27 at Myers Stadium. Athletes who finish in the top 12 of their events qualify for the NCAA championships on June 7-10 in Eugene, Ore.
WSU heptathletes Breanne Borman, Gavyn Yetter and Nikki Larch-Miller and decathlete Hunter Veith are already qualified for the NCAA championships.
Borman will throw the javelin and Veith will compete in the long jump in West prelims.
