Wichita State’s women’s basketball team added guard Anna Khmelevskaya and Texas Tech transfer Diamond Lockhart.
Khmelevskaya (5-foot-9), from Rostov-on-Don, Russsia, earned a spot on the all-tournament team in the 2012 Russian Championships all-tournament team.
Lockhart (5-5) will sit out the 2014-15 season as a transfer and be a sophomore in eligibility in 2015-16. She started 11 games and averaged 4.3 points for Texas Tech, making 30.5 percent of her shots and 11 of 54 three-pointers. She made 25 of 28 free throws in 30 games.
Lockhart, from Red Oak, Texas, averaged 14.3 points, 4.0 assists and 3.4 steals as a senior at Red Oak.
WSU signed three players in the fall — 5-6 guard Aundra Stovall of Arlington (Texas) Seguin; 6-0 guard Ashlee Ivy from Butler Community College and Heights and 6-4 center Brittany Martin from Northwest Florida State College.
