Wichita State reveals rest of Oct. 18 Shocker Madness plans

Wichita State’s Shocker Madness basketball preview starts with volleyball on Oct. 18 at Koch Arena.

Then comes plenty of basketball.

WSU plays Bradley at 6 p.m. in the volleyball match. Around 8 p.m., the women’s basketball team takes the court. They will scrimmage for 30 minutes and compete in a three-point contest. Their NCAA Tournament banner will make its debut.

ESPNU will begin its broadcast around 9 p.m. with an introduction of the men’s team and the Final Four ring ceremony. The Shockers will have a dunk contest before a 20-minute scrimmage. ESPN’s Len Elmore will interview WSU coach Gregg Marshall.

Admission is free to the basketball portion of the evening.
