Wichita State’s two losses did not remove the Shockers from one of college basketball’s national rankings.

WSU dropped eight spots to No. 22 in the USA Today poll of NCAA Division I basketball coaches. The Shockers (19-4, 8-3 Missouri Valley Conference) lost at home to Indiana State and at Northern Iowa last week.

WSU tied for 28th in the Associated Press poll, if the poll were expanded beyond the top 25.

Kansas (19-2) dropped four spots to No. 5 after Saturday’s loss to Oklahoma State. Kansas State (17-4) moved up six spots to No. 15.

Creighton (20-3) is No. 13, up four spots.
