Jayhawk Conference

No. 2 Butler (8-0, 6-0 Jayhawk) at No. 13 Hutchinson (7-1, 6-0), 7 p.m. – Winner is crowned the Jayhawk’s regular-season champion and gets home-field advantage in the Region VI playoffs, where a likely rematch awaits on Nov. 11.

Despite winning six straight games, the Blue Dragons dropped one spot to No. 13 in the NJCAA poll after a 37-14 win over Fort Scott last Saturday.

No. 5 Northwest Missouri (7-1, 6-1 MIAA) at No. 16 Washburn (7-1, 7-1), 1 p.m. – Northwest Missouri has the league’s top offense and defense. Washburn has yet to play a ranked team and its one loss came to 1-6 Central Oklahoma.

If the Falcons win against Sterling, they still have a shot at the KCAC title and an NAIA playoff bid because of their final two games at No. 24 Ottawa and at No. 22 Tabor.
