KCAC champion McPherson will host No. 12 McKendree (Ill.) in the first round of the NAIA Football Championship Series on Saturday.
The Bulldogs are ranked No. No. 6 in the nation and went 10-0 this season for their first KCAC title since 1952. It is also their second straight NAIA playoff berth and the first home playoff game in school history.
Senior quarterback Shane Mascarenas leads McPherson with 3,419 yards passing and 35 touchdowns.
McKendree is 8-2 and plays in the Mid-States Football Association.
Ottawa, 9-1 and ranked No. 8, will host No. 11 Marian (Ind.) on Saturday. It's also the second straight NAIA playoff berth for the Braves.
Marian is 9-2 and also plays in the MSFA.
Undefeated MidAmerica Nazarene University, 10-0, will host No. 17 Georgetown (Ky.) College in the first round at Olathe.

Defending national champion Sioux Falls is 10-0 and hosts Northwestern Oklahoma State in its opener. Sioux Falss is playing for its fifth national championship and third consecutive.
Only one team has won at least three straight titles, with Carroll (Mont.) winning four in-a-row from 2002-05. Texas A&I (now Texas A&M-Kingsville) holds the most NAIA Championships with seven overall.
