LAWRENCE – Tickets for KU’s previously announced “Celebrating 60 Years” event at Allen Fieldhouse will go on sale Monday. The event, which will commemorate the 60th season at Allen Fieldhouse, is set for Oct. 27 and will include appearances from former Kansas coaches Ted Owens, Larry Brown and Roy Williams.
KU announced Tuesday that ESPN analyst Jay Bilas will serve as master of ceremonies for the event.
According to a KU release, members of the Williams Education Fund at the “Hall of Fame,” “Champion” and “All-American levels,” along with K-Club members and KU students, can purchase tickets beginning Monday.
Remaining members of the Williams Fund can begin buying tickets on Sept. 17, while tickets for the general public go on sale Sept. 22.
Never miss a local story.
The prices for the event range from a 10-seat table on Naismith Court for $5,000 — a package that includes food, beer and wine, one chair autographed by all four coaches, one autographed team basketball and a commemorative piece of Allen Fieldhouse floor for all table guests — to individual seats inside Allen Fieldhouse ranging from $25 to $60. According to KU, “Students may purchase a maximum of two tickets at $15 each located in a designated section.”
