LAWRENCE — Kansas senior guard Tyshawn Taylor played Saturday's 78-67 victory over No. 2 Ohio State with a sprained medial collateral ligament and a torn meniscus in his right knee.
Taylor will have surgery to repair the knee, and he will be out a maximum of three weeks. KU coach Bill Self did not rule him out for the Dec. 19 game against Davidson.
Taylor had nine points with a career-high 13 assists and seven turnovers against the Buckeyes.
