The Maui Invitational announced its bracket on Wednesday, and it features several intriguing games for the Kansas State basketball team.

The Wildcats will open the early season tournament against Purdue at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 24. The game will be televised on ESPN2. From there, they will play Missouri or Arizona in the next round. After that they will face Pittsburgh, Chaminade, BYU or San Diego State in their final game.

Playing Purdue will bring back lots of memories for K-State coach Bruce Weber. He spent 18 seasons with the Boilermakers as an assistant under then-coach Gene Keady. Purdue went 15-17 last year, missing the postseason.

A second-round game against Arizona or Missouri should also be fun. Arizona won 33 games last season and should enter the Maui Invitational with a high ranking. K-State and Missouri used to play twice per season in the Big 12, but they have not met on the basketball court since the Tigers switched to the SEC.
