Rodney McGruder signs as free agent with Orlando Magic

MANHATTAN — A day after going undrafted, former Kansas State wing Rodney McGruder signed a free-agent contract with the Orlando Magic.

McGruder will play for the organization’s summer league team. Depending on how he performs, he will be given the opportunity to make the orginization’s roster next season or explore options with other teams.

McGruder averaged 15.6 points and 5.4 rebounds as a senior at K-State.
