Kansas State's John Currie was named one of four Athletic Directors of the Year on Monday by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics.

The honor comes following a year in which the Wildcats won or shared Big 12 championships in football, men’s basketball and baseball .

Off the field, K-State has also undergone recent facility upgrades, including a new $18 million basketball training facility and a $75 million expansion to the west side of Snyder Family Stadium.

The NACDA will present the award to Currie on Saturday at its annual convention in Orlando, Fla. The other three winners are Kevin White of Duke, Jeff Long of Arkansas and Jeff Compher of Northern Illinois.
