Wichita Falls (Texas) Hirschi High guard Marcus Foster announced via text on Monday that he has given Kansas State’s basketball program an oral commitment. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound guard also had offers from Creighton, California, Oklahoma, SMU and Lehigh, but had narrowed his choices to Creighton and K-State. He had planned on visiting Creighton this weekend.
Foster, a 6-foot-2 shooting guard, averaged 24.2 points, 4.4 assists and 9.8 rebounds as a junior. He visited K-State last weekend along with Dallas Mustangs AAU teammate Jeff Carroll.
“It’s a great place,” Foster texted Sunday.
