MANHATTAN — Another exhibition game. Another easy victory.
The Kansas State basketball team defeated Washburn 90-44 on Sunday, five days after beating Newman by 27.
Sophomore guard Rodney McGruder led the Wildcats by making five three-pointers and scoring 18 points. Jacob Pullen scored 12, Curtis Kelly added 11 and Jordan Henriquez-Roberts contributed nine points and nine rebounds.
K-State led 35-21 at halftime, and extended that lead throughout the second half. Coach Frank Martin used several different lineups, and started Nick Russell and Freddy Asprilla in place of Victor Ojeleye and Kelly. Thirteen different players scored.

The Wildcats will now turn their attention to the regular season, which begins Friday. K-State will take on Presbyterian at 7 p.m. at Bramlage Coliseum.
