K-State third, Kansas last in Big 12 preseason football poll

Kansas State was picked to finish third in the Big 12 football race this season, according to a media poll released by the conference Thursday morning. Kansas was picked last, in 10th spot.

Kansas State was picked to finish third in the Big 12 football race this season, according to a media poll released by the conference Thursday morning. Kansas was picked last, in 10th spot.

Oklahoma received 47 of 56 first-place votes to claim the top spot in the poll. Baylor, the defending league champion, got the other nine first-place votes to sit in second.

K-State was one point ahead of Texas for third, followed by Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, TCU, West Virginia, Iowa State and KU.
