Nebraska at Baylor
When: 11:30 a.m.
Records: NU 4-3, 1-2 Big 12; BU 3-4, 0-3
The line: NU by 13
Radio/TV: Versus, Ch. 257
Storyline: Somehow, this is one of the more intriguing conference games today. Even with last week's humbling home loss to Iowa State, the Huskers still have a realistic road to five Big 12 wins, which will probably mean at least a share of the North. But any more stumbles and Big Red will be in Big Ruins.
Missouri at Colorado
When: 12:30 p.m.
Records: MU 4-3, 0-3; CU 2-5, 1-2
The line: MU by 3 1/2
Radio/TV: FSN, Ch. 34
Storyline: Somehow, this is one of the more intriguing conference games today. Surely Mizzou won't head back into the Central time zone 0-4. Even at 0-3, five wins is realistic for the Tigers, but they can't be like Jittery Jayhawks and lose to a Buffaloes bunch that may be wondering who's going to be on the coaching search committee come Nov. 28.
Iowa State at Texas A&M
When: 2:30 p.m.
Records: ISU 5-3, 2-2; A&M 4-3, 1-2
The line: A&M by 7
Storyline: Somehow, this is one of the more intriguing conference games today. If ISU wins today, takes its best shot against visiting Okie State next week, beats CU in two weeks, then goes into Columbia on Nov. 21... Cy could win four, couldn't he? That could mean a share of the division. And the Paul Rhoads bronze bust would be in the design phase.
No. 3 Texas at No. 13 Oklahoma State
When: 7 p.m.
Records: UT 7-0, 4-0; OSU 6-1, 3-0
The line: UT by 9
Radio/TV: KAKE, Ch. 10
Storyline: Somehow, this is one of the more intriguing conference games today. Winner's in the South driver's seat, which is how these division races are supposed to be decided. (But the North's more fun.) Seems like this one comes down to which OSU defense appears. Bill Young's best effort will be needed to keep the Pokes close.
