Kirk Seminoff looks at today's other Big 12 games

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Halfway through the season, who’s your Heisman pick?

No. 20 Oklahoma vs. No. 3 Texas

When: 11 a.m.

Records: OU 3-2, 1-0; UT 5-0, 2-0

The line:

Radio/TV: KSGL, 900-AM; KAKE, Ch. 10

Storyline: Kudos to the Norman and Austin big-wigs for reiterating this week that this game should stay in the Cotton Bowl and not move to home sites or Cowboys Stadium. Texas has won 3 of 4 in the series, by the way, and the Sooners have struggled in their big games so far. OU's still playing for the BCS, though.

Texas Tech at No. 15 Nebraska

When: 2:30 p.m.

Records: Tech 4-2, 1-1; NU 4-1, 1-0

The line:

Radio/TV: KAKE, Ch. 10

Storyline: The first of four inter-division games this week, all of them intriguing. Las Vegas obviously thinks Nebraska will put a little more pressure on Tech's quarterbacks than K-State did, but doesn't this still figure to be a shootout? And if so, will the Huskers keep up?

Baylor at Iowa State

When: 6 p.m.

Records: BU 3-2, 0-1; ISU 3-3, 0-2

The line:

Radio/TV: None

Storyline: The only Big 12 game not to be found on airwaves today, and while it's understandable, it's also disappointing because this figures to be an entertaining game. Baylor has to find a way to keep ISU RB Alexander Robinson from his fifth 100-yard game. Bowl-eligibility hopes are on the line for both teams.

Missouri at No. 16 Oklahoma State

When: 8:15 p.m.

Records: MU 4-1, 0-1; OSU 4-1, 1-0

The line:

Radio/TV: ESPN2, Ch. 33

Storyline: This was our favorite Big 12 game of 2008, as ESPN endlessly showed Pokes coach Mike Gundy on the sideline figuring out offensive plays while Mizzou had the ball. Figure on another high-octane game, though MU had better figure out its running game — two straight efforts of less than 100 yards.
