Pittsburg State third in both MIAA football polls

Pittsburg State is picked to finish third in the MIAA in preseason polls of conference coaches and media.

Northwest Missouri was the media’s pick to win the conference, while it tied with Missouri Western at the top of the coaches poll. The coaches poll had Washburn sixth, Emporia State seventh and Fort Hays State eighth, while the media poll had Washburn fourth, ESU seventh and Fort Hays State tied for eighth.
