President Obama favors the people. Republican Party leaders favor lobbyists. Why? Because they get paid well in campaign donations by the corporations to vote the way corporations want them to. Selling your vote should be treason.

A lot of us have started buying only goods made in the USA, while all the big stores are choking with junk from China.

The trees in our parks and along our boulevards certainly have been beautiful, even though they are socialist trees.

It would make no business sense for Wichita to finish the road construction in and around the city. Traffic violations at construction sites are ATMs and cash cows, which keep the city fiscally sound.

Watching TV on Saturday afternoon, I didn't care if Northwestern beat Iowa, Central Florida survived Texas or South Carolina murdered Arkansas. I have basic cable TV, and I'd like to know why I couldn't watch Kansas play K-State.

You would think that with technology growing rapidly, the bank would figure out a way to text me right when it sees an overdraft. Instead it mails a letter. Oh, and thanks for the 14 overdraft fees, too.
