The Fort Hood massacre shows just how much political correctness has overcome common sense when dealing with a radical Muslim. Nidal Hasan apparently provided all the warnings necessary to prevent this disaster, but senior U.S. Army officials were so afraid of aggravating the Muslim population in the military, they chose to ignore the signs.

Republicans assumed that a black man could not be elected president, so they could run unqualified people and offer nothing in the way of solving our problems. Now, like the immature children they are, they are throwing tantrums, trying to undermine anything the Obama administration tries to do.

The unemployment benefits you receive come directly from capitalism. The unemployment fund comes straight from unemployment taxes levied on your previous employers.

Our nation has seen God do marvelous things. It was founded by a small band of Christians and, in a short span of history, became the greatest nation in the world. Yet we also seem to forget, as Israel once did: Always remember from whom all blessings come.

I don't believe in abortion, but I also don't believe that murdering George Tiller was right. A person who truly loves and follows Christ would not do something like that. Also, I am sure that there have been plenty of atheists who have committed murder.

The Intrust Bank Arena is attracting some great country headliners. Now, how about a couple for the middle-of-the-road boomers? Acts such as Neil Diamond and Yanni are guaranteed sellouts wherever they appear.
