The City Council members and county commissioners are the CEOs of Wichita and Sedgwick County. Just image them running Boeing or Koch Industries. Those companies would be broke in a few months. These people don't understand common sense or profit.

Why can't one intersection on West Street be finished before another one is being worked on? All the major east-west streets across West Street are either partly closed or closed. A 10-year-old kid could plan better than that.

The Wichita Toy Run is not out to get attention. The participants are giving toys and bicycles to children who wouldn't have gotten anything otherwise. At least they are out there for a good cause and not complaining about others.

You would not say that the Shriners were nothing but "big attention-getters" if your child needed them to pay for medical needs or you needed help buying Christmas gifts for your children.
