With our central location and strong health care and manufacturing industries, Wichita should become a center for vaccine manufacturing. Then the United States wouldn't have to rely on foreign countries for vaccine.

To all you Obama supporters: Scrape off the bumper sticker, put down the cigarettes, get off public assistance, and become productive members of society so that I don't have to continue to support you.

Rep. Todd Tiahrt does not want anyone to "have to go to a public official to get health care." Doesn't he mind people having to go to a corporate CEO for that same health care? Corporations make money when they don't pay claims. That is why they deny claims all the time.

I am appalled that the Sedgwick County commissioners get free tickets to WSU basketball games and, yes, I want to know about every coffee cup that commissioners receive from anyone.

Bev Hodge was an incredible teacher at Robinson Middle School. Her death is a tragedy and a reminder that many unsung heroes live among us. These true American heroes devote their lives to bettering the lives of those around them.
