The feds have given war surplus tanks and armored troop carriers to local police forces around the country. What do you suppose those vehicles will be used for?
The White House vacation policy is the only one that Obama has followed during his six years in office.
Sam Brownback needs to inform the Republican Governors Association that he considered running against Barack Obama in 2008 and that he is running against Paul Davis in 2014. You would think they would be a little more in tune with what is going on, but maybe not.
Lawrence attorney Davis, as a good Democrat loyalist, supported a popular but untested and inexperienced Obama in 2008 and again, sadly, in 2012. This proves Davis is either unenlightened, or simply a person who puts party politics above what is good for all Americans.
How does creating 25,000 jobs a year wipe out a $238 million state budget deficit, particularly in view of the fact their expected creators, small business, are not taxed on income?
If the saying “Denial isn’t just a river in Egypt” ever applied to anyone, it’s got to be Brownback. How many downgrades does this state have to get before he and his equally clueless toadies wake up and realize their tax cut “experiment” is a joke?
Todd Tiahrt spent three months attacking Mike Pompeo for advocating a strong foreign policy in Syria and Iraq. With all that’s happening, I’m starting to think that Pompeo had it right all along. We need a strong America. Otherwise, the bad guys will fill that vacuum.
Would The Eagle please take the full-page Pompeo “congratulations” ad sponsored by the American Energy Alliance and stuff it in his old Army boots? I’m tired of looking at his picture. I’m also fed up with his misguided policies and promotion of corporate welfare.
To those who say pot is no worse than tobacco, alcohol and caffeine: That’s exactly why it’s called dope.
In order to decrease cost and increase profit, customer service is being eliminated. I do not consider communicating with a computer to be customer service.
Hearing about the death of Robin Williams was a punch in the gut for the world.
The tears are flowing on Planet Ork. Nanu nanu.
