If our government can’t keep up with the five old Taliban fighters, then all of the fuss over the CIA, NSA and FBI invading our private lives is meaningless. We know where they are, what they look like, and whom they are talking to. Like fish in a barrel.
Obama made a mistake when he traded five terrorists for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl. He should have traded Hillary Clinton, John Kerry and Joe Biden.
I keep hearing and reading that the Republicans wanted to leave Bergdahl behind. That is so far from the truth, as usual from the left.
You can’t blame Obama for the mess in Iraq and Afghanistan. He inherited that mess from the George W. Bush administration. By the way, where is Bush hiding out?
Is it just a coincidence that every time Obama starts flying all over the place the price of fuel goes up?
The two words that are destroying America – Barack Obama.
Look for Obama to close Gitmo by simply releasing the detainees into the Middle East.
Lois Lerner should be convicted for destroying IRS evidence and serve a long prison term.
Todd Tiahrt’s vow to fight Obama every day and Mike Pompeo’s similar pledge are not worthy of my vote. It’s time for the elephants to lift their trunks and wash away the constant negativity and partisan loyalty that are bringing America down more than Obama.
Tiahrt has apparently forgotten that the first time he ran for Congress he was an enthusiastic and outspoken proponent for term limits, but I remember. I would cheerfully vote for Jane Fonda before I would vote for Tiahrt or Pompeo.
Since Rep. Tim Huelskamp is so concerned about a so-called gag order at the VA, perhaps he can convince Kansas Republicans to allow all governor and legislative meetings to be streamed live for all Kansans to witness.
What arrogance, bravado and grandstanding by Huelskamp. What right does he have to demand answers about “the list” within 24 hours from VA administrators – or make any demands whatsoever? His Big Bad Wolf attitude of “huff and puff and blow your house down” reeks of political opportunity.
The world needs freedom from the tyranny of religion.
When I was growing up we all rode bicycles all the time. But I have noticed that most of the bicycle riders today ride on the sidewalk. This was not allowed when I was growing up. We rode on the street and had to obey all the road laws.
Regarding how to pay for a funeral: Have a direct cremation with no embalming. It cost around $600. There is no casket, no cemetery plot, no vault. You can keep the ashes or (with permission) you can bury or scatter them in a lovely place.
