In this day and age of the Internet, don’t ever do something so stupid or crazy it goes viral. You will then be the laughingstock of the entire world.

Anyone who causes an aircraft to crash by using a laser should be tried and given an automatic death sentence.

I don’t want my country or anyone else deciding who my enemies are. The people of Afghanistan and Iraq have never been my enemy.

Bring our veteran home. Boycott Mexico now.

I watched the president’s combination commencement and foreign policy speech at West Point. I really wonder what those fine young men and women were thinking as they heard those rambling and confused words.

Our don’t-know president says he didn’t know about the Benghazi tragedy, didn’t know about the FBI targeting conservative groups, didn’t know about the VA hospital wait lists. When will we get a president who knows what he was elected to know?

I don’t know who is more delusional – Kris Kobach, who sees undocumented voters under his bed at night, or Sam Brownback, who sees a more than $200 million tax revenue shortfall as a sign of booming prosperity.

Wichita Transit is like a flat tire. It always needs more and more of the taxpayers’ money.

Technically, city bus lines may not make a profit, but the city itself benefits. The businesses that can and do benefit from the bus lines should offer perks to frequent riders and promote bus rider discounts.

It is a shame Tony Bennett hasn’t been to Wichita, but there have been some mighty great acts at the Orpheum Theatre. You must have been sleeping and missed them.

The Saline County commissioner is like a lot of politicians: Don’t bother me with facts; my mind is made up.

Why do out-of-state vehicles and trucks drive in the right lane while Butler County cars drive in the passing lane?

Nearly every day I see a young woman texting while driving.
