I keep hearing our president hears about all the scandals that are going on from the news. I sure hope the cable doesn’t go out at the White House or the paperboy doesn’t get laid off.

The more Obama, Al Gore et al proclaim the “debate is over” and the “science is settled,” the louder they proclaim that they don’t have anything to back up their ridiculous claims. Fine, call us “climate deniers.” Climate alarmists are science and truth deniers.

You’d think with all the business loss that ozone levels would be down.

A favorite line of liberals is that obstructionism is caused solely by Republicans. However, if one quiets the rhetoric for a minute and looks carefully, one will see that the Democrats are every bit as much to blame if not more. If you don’t believe that, look at Harry Reid.

Let’s make Dick Cheney president and start more wars.

Accomplishments of the leading Democrat candidate for president: Author of the failed scheme to take over and socialize the nation’s entire health care system. Wife of an impeached president who was held in contempt by a federal court and disbarred by the Supreme Court. Accomplishments as secretary of state: Benghazi.

The government is working for the people, by the people, but not the people wanting to rule the rest of us for their own personal gain.

The Republican Party has been morphed into an indecisive, lobby-led lemming mob hunting for a cliff. It is not the party you, your parents or your grandparents voted for in past years.

Republicans complain too much about Obama. If it were Bush, everything he would be doing would be an act of God.

If dirty-tricks politics were nonexistent, the Republican Party would be nonexistent. Corruption, deception, misrepresentation – that’s the Republican mind-set. It’s repeated over and over by the attitudes and actions demonstrated at the federal and state levels.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. I don’t have to like your prayer, and I don’t have to respect it. If you want my respect, you must earn it. Try walking the walk, instead of just giving it lip service.

The two girls suspended from East High (May 10 Eagle) obviously know nothing about how teenage boys think. They also think that vulgar language is OK because “that’s how we talk.” A few face piercings and tattoos and they will fit right in, because “that’s the way everybody is.”

Too bad two teens got too much attention from the press for misbehaving. Girls will find themselves in better company if they dress and talk and act like young ladies rather than little rebels.

Wow – Monday’s Eagle was so skinny I had to go buy a second one to finish lining my bird cage.
