Are people attracted to politics mainly of junior high school mentality, or is there something about politics that makes them regress to that age?
Of all the photos The Eagle could have used regarding the National September 11 Memorial Museum, it chose one with those five people (the Clintons, the Obamas and Michael Bloomberg)? This was a tragedy, and a front-page photo should have better respected those who perished there and their families. Disgusting.
During the Bush administration, 60 people were killed in attacks on our embassies and consulates. Where was all the wailing and gnashing of teeth over these deaths? These folks were just as precious to their loved ones as the four killed in Benghazi.
Another investigation into Benghazi? Where’s the investigation into George Bush, Dick Cheney and the Bush administration? They are responsible for the deaths of more than 4,000 American troops and tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis and Afghans. Is it because of who they are or who they know?
Hillary Clinton is an excellent actor and liar. Commander in chief she should not be.
Karl Rove just showed his knack for dirty tricks: He alludes to Hillary Clinton having possible brain damage from her fall. The nation press hammers him for doing this but keeps repeating the brain damage claim. Each time it does, the story sinks into Americans’ memory more and more.
I don’t understand why newspapers such as the Philadelphia Inquirer continue to pay columnists such as Trudy Rubin. All they do is take White House talking points and publish them in a different format. Can’t a clerk do that?
Sam Brownback claims Kansas has become a lighthouse for the rest of the nation under his administration. He should be a comedian, because that is a joke.
Extremists from the left and the right have taken over our local, state and federal governments as well as the media. Don’t believe the hype and spin. We have to use common sense and work together to fix our problems.
Everything you need to know about religion can be learned from listening to George Carlin.
If the news media want Donald Sterling to go away, they should stop giving him interviews.
If Sterling was black and making the same exact comments about whites, we would not have heard a thing about it. Racism is racism, people. It doesn’t matter what color you are. If you cry foul about one, cry foul about the others. I’m tired of this double standard.
Why does The Eagle publish a headline saying “Republicans will block” or “Republicans block” when either statement is as predictable as tomorrow’s sunrise?
The only “education inequality” around today is self-inflicted. Stop blaming others for your own failures.
So GM was fined $35 million for shoddy workmanship. I suppose the American taxpayers have to take the hit on that, too.
