If you are even thinking about voting for Hillary Clinton for president if she runs in 2016, you really need to think again. Her time as secretary of state was a complete joke. Please do some homework before you decide.

Hillary Clinton is the most dangerous woman in the world.

Republican vocabulary: a noun and a verb and “Benghazi.”

More than 4,480 Americans died, George W. Bush lied. Perspective, please.

Regarding Cal Thomas’ May 7 column: In the past, two major U.S. government commissions found the major source of government fraud, waste and abuse was in the military, where the money is. Shouldn’t the new Eisenhower Airport display Ike’s trenchant warning about the military-industrial complex?

Is it too late? Name it the Bob Dole - Greatest Generation Airport, complete with a small museum honoring the former senator and his generation and a slick handout for visitors on Dole’s history and witticisms. Was Eisenhower ever in Wichita? This hasn’t been thought through.

We all know that if a Democrat ran for office and did not live in Kansas, Secretary of State Kris Kobach would be all over it. But since it’s Republican Pat Roberts who doesn’t live here, Kobach will sweep it under the rug.

The group Women for Kansas has awakened a sleeping giant in Kansas politics. Women vote and can be very powerful. Watch out, Brownback and Kobach.

How about some economic sanctions for Nevada ranchers (or others) who do not recognize the authority of the federal government? No use of federal highways or national banking systems, no water from federal reservoirs, no access to public airports, etc.

Why is it that when a white person says something about black people, it gets plastered all over the media, but when it’s the other way around nothing is said? An example is what Michael Jordan says in a new biography.

My stepson phones me every year on the Saturday before Mother’s Day to wish me “Happy Stepmother’s Day.” He says Stepmother’s Day comes before Mother’s Day because it’s more important. God bless him.

If more NBA players showed the humility Kevin Durant did in his MVP speech, there would be a lot more NBA fans.

Concertgoing etiquette: Please don’t keep rhythm on the back of my seat or sing along unless the performer asks for audience participation.
