Why get a skill or education if “minimum wage” is raised to a “living wage”? I’d love to make a “living wage” and not need any working brain cells, or responsibility.
They claim that the Wichita area lost 31,000 jobs. And now they want to tax the working and nonworking people to attract new jobs. The problem is with the leadership, not the people in this area. I want some proof that 31,000 jobs were lost.
Mayor Carl Brewer is a wannabe, thinking Wichita can be like Texas or Oklahoma. Now he is talking about a new tax. Tell him to stop giving tax breaks to friends and realize that we are Wichita. If he hates it so bad here, he can move. Leave us alone.

Those who come after us will have to risk their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to bring back the republic that this generation has timidly frittered away due to “white guilt” and political correctness.
I would like to see the Koch brothers hire experts to debate climate change. The problem is that climate change is a religion to some; therefore, emotion enters the equation, diluting the science.
We need street signs that alert drivers of texting pedestrians.
A casino in Las Vegas has banned Ben Affleck from playing blackjack because he is too good. In other words: “Losers only, please.” Winners don’t pay the light bill.
