Rep. Virgil Peck said he doesn’t care if public broadcasting exists. He could have also said he doesn’t care if public education or government exists. After all, if you can’t make money off it, it can’t be any good, right?
Perhaps if Peck watched PBS, he would become a well-informed legislator.
Hey, Wichita City Council, why don’t you spend the $90 million proposed for a jobs fund to build your own reservoir instead? Hey, greedy El Dorado city commissioners, citizens need the water. Don’t abandon the people who elected you and can also take you out.
The NSA violates our Fourth Amendment rights to privacy with mass collections of data on our e-mails, Internet searches, financial transactions, etc. Our very own U.S. Rep. Mike Pompeo, who sits on the House Intelligence Committee, is OK with this. What a shame he is for squashing our rights.
