Young people do not want to buy health insurance because they believe they will not use it. Why should seniors pay high water prices now for something they will not use in the future?
In Haysville, 284 people recently passed the 1 percent sales-tax hike that is being forced onto 10,000-plus residents so the money can be spent on a streets, parks and recreation “program” to be named later. But don’t poke fun at us. Stop it.

While it may be argued that Kathleen Sebelius was a good governor for the state of Kansas, she did not serve the Obama camp well by bungling the rollout of the Affordable Care Act. Her federal legacy will be remembered as nothing short of incompetent.
I used to think Obama was stupid. No more. He has us fighting with each other while he tramples the Constitution with no remorse.
Eighty-one percent of people over the age of 100 are women. What is Obama going to do about that? That’s inequality.
God bless the ranchers.
