Don’t like gay marriage? Don’t get one. Don’t like abortions? Don’t have one. Don’t like drugs? Don’t do them. Don’t like guns? Don’t buy one. Just mind your own business, and I’ll be minding mine.
There is only one reason our Kansas legislators want to defy the federal government by opting out of Obamacare, disregarding wildlife conservation mandates and turning down federal funding, all of which would benefit the voters: because the Republican Party, the Kansas Chamber of Commerce and Americans for Prosperity told them to.
To find government overreach one need look no further than Topeka.
President Obama is intentionally disarming our military and our economy as part of his transformation to the unknown.
The reason the Affordable Care Act will work is that we will no longer be held hostage by many insurance companies that have sold us inadequate policies (and then only if we qualified). Better health, better productivity for America.
If you still support America’s traitor, Barack Obama, you are both in denial and part of the problem.
I figure that for our next election, we should just let people from all over the world fly in on jumbo jets and cast votes to decide America’s new leaders. Or maybe some of you think that only American citizens should vote.
When I was a kid growing up in Oklahoma, I knew a farmer who didn’t want much land; he just wanted to own the farms that bordered his. His last name was Putin.
We have four rental homes and have had the same renters for years. We have not raised the rent once, even though our property tax and insurance have gone up. So please stop assuming all landlords are just in it for the money.
We shouldn’t strive for a work-to-live town. We should strive for a live-to-work town.
Smoking is your decision, but please quit throwing your butts from your car, especially during this drought but preferably always. The world is not your ashtray.
I came to this town 30 years ago with nothing but the shirt on my back and $50 in my pocket, and if I can ever get my $50 back I’m gonna leave.
Driving through town at 2:30 a.m. No other cars in sight. Stopped at every light at every block, burning through $3.49-a-gallon fuel. Welcome to Wichita.
I think that more teenagers should get jobs, to let them see how important it is to manage money and not waste it for unnecessary things.
I think it’s good how the kids at Maize High School will learn new things by growing some of their own food.
There should be more concerts in Wichita. We need more excitement in this town.
