Boo-hoo. Sen. Dianne Feinstein is hopping mad the CIA surveilled her staffers’ computers. Like Rep. Mike Pompeo, she is an adamant supporter of the NSA spying on U.S. citizens and maybe appreciates our loss of privacy now.
The tea party lost my support when it went after Pat Roberts. Roberts has consistently voted conservatively on every major issue, and I will continue to vote for him. If it’s not broken, don’t fix it.
It is hard to come up with a word to describe former Vice President Dick Cheney, who publicly criticizes a sitting president during times of crises and any other chance he can get. Former President Bush, on the other hand, can be described as a person with class.

Why is it that the Wichita police officers do not wear hats while on duty? A hat adds to their personal appearance, and contributes to their authority.
General Motors lost a customer forever because of the recent handling of the recall and investigation of ignition switches. And shame on the U.S. government for bailing out this irresponsible company.
My experience involving salaried management has been that midlevel and above personnel not paid overtime have been otherwise compensated with vehicles, stock options and plush expense accounts not offered hourly employees. Those benefits generally surpass time-and-a-half overtime pay.
Are you hiring or are you just playing with me?
Westar Energy to customers: Grin and pay up.
When I was in Tulsa recently, gas was 15 cents per gallon lower there at the same Tulsa-based chain that operates in the Wichita market. Even the gas price at the Belle Plaine turnpike stop was less than in Wichita. What is going on?
The only “Shocker” to me is the price of gas.
I’ve been a Shocker fan for 50 years and never turned my back on them. Bad times, good times – I proudly wore my Shocker gear with pride, so don’t lump all of us with the bandwagon-ers.
A woman sat to my left at the MVC Tourney and shook her puppet in my face before, during and after every major play. I almost grabbed the puppet and threw it. Please keep your puppet in your lap so the rest of us can watch the game.
