Dear Federal Reserve: I’m really short of money this month. Could you print some extra and send it to me? Thanks.
The person who thought it was funny to quote Leviticus to make light of Colorado’s new law concerning cannabis and gay men lying together might also want to read Galatians 6:7, which says: “Be not deceived, God is not mocked.”
With Obama promoting marijuana sales, where’s his FDA plan to control the consistent quality of it? Or will we see some very dangerous genetically altered stuff show up soon?
Is Charles Krauthammer The Eagle’s hired gun to get Obama (like too many of the political cartoons)? His “analysis” is sour and ideological.
I was wondering when and who changed the Constitution allowing police to randomly pull drivers over on I-135 and run dogs around their vehicles looking for contraband. I must have missed that day in civics class. What next? Checks to see if you paid your child support, or your taxes?
Why is it OK for everyone to break traffic laws but not OK for immigrants to sneak across the border? Is it OK to break some laws but not others?
As much damage as I think the GOP is doing to our country, it would never be so much that I wouldn’t count my blessings for the privilege of living here. When you consider the unrest, turmoil and human atrocities elsewhere, we are the luckiest people in the world.
Darn those pesky tea party extremists. How dare they try to destroy this country by asking for less government interference in our lives and a healthy dose of self-reliance?
If there is a supposed “separation of church and state,” what has the state to do with someone’s religious beliefs not to provide service to someone else? Seems like the state is forcing its religious beliefs on business owners. Goodbye, separation.
Yes, being gay is a choice, just like you choose the color of your skin before you are born.
Great. So maybe soon I can refuse service based on my religious beliefs. Hey – let’s extend that beyond the gays. How about those who live together, those who have had affairs and sex outside of marriage, and those who look at pornography? It’s all sexual immorality.
What is it with the Kansas legislators that impels them to introduce every nutty idea that some fringe group suggests to them?
Let me dream. Please don’t tell me Ron Baker has a girlfriend. I don’t want to know. I really don’t want to know.
Hawaii is the No. 1 state for highest percentage of happy people. They are wimps. To be happy and living in Kansas is to be mentally tough.
