Shady used-car dealers have moved ahead of the government when it comes to credibility.
Can someone explain why our government would cut $4 billion in food-stamp aid from Americans and then give Pakistan $1.6 billion in aid? Pakistan harbored the most-wanted terrorist in the world, Osama bin Laden. This is insanity.
Income inequality is growing, not shrinking, after almost five years of this president’s policies. I think it is safe to say his efforts to “spread the wealth around” and “grow the economy from the middle class out” have failed.
Kathleen Sebelius said that nobody she works for wants her to resign. Yes, they do, so that’s tantamount to an admission by a major Democrat that they don’t see themselves as working for the American citizens. Fire her.
How about some of you closet bigots giving this good man in the White House a chance? He needs some support instead of the constant unwarranted opposition. This message comes to you from an old white man who just turned 75.
Conservatives are opposed to Democrats, whom they like to label “progressives” as if progress is a bad thing. Well, the opposite of “progressive” is “regressive,” which describes Republicans and tea partiers pretty well.
Deciphering liberals’ code-speak is easy: They never mean what they say. For example, when Democrats say “bipartisan” they mean “our way or the highway.” Or when they say “fair share” they mean “we’re going to rob the rich blind and give it to our favorite charity: us.”
I am so sick of hearing about Obamacare. It’s not working. Obama knew it wouldn’t.
The last statistics that I read regarding education is that the USA is second among nations in the amount of money that is spent per student. Yet this country ranks 22nd in performance. Throwing more money at the problem is not the solution.
Reading that Jean Schodorf would officially announce her run for secretary of state was just the best news. If she were elected, there’d be hope of a return to at least partial sanity in Topeka. Still, even if the position were vacant, it would be better than Kris Kobach.
“Get Fuzzy” is the best strip there is. I’d like to see “The Far Side” back. Reprints even.
As long as we’re talking about removing old comic strips: I wish The Eagle would drop Cal Thomas.
I wish I did not work for the government. I would like to be able to send a letter to the editor informing the public with facts. If I would do that now, I would be fired by the liberal government.
China continues its assault on America, one dog at a time. Seriously, why in the world would anyone even consider buying anything for consumption made in China?
