Not even if every American were working around the clock for the NSA would it be possible to accomplish all the spying and listening in they’re accused of. How do you accuse a government of monumental ineptness on one hand and grandiose achievement on the other? Unreal.
Tapping the phones of friendly diplomats, drone strikes on sovereign territory, locking up people for a decade without charge – man, the U.S. is beginning to make the Russian KGB and Hitler’s SS look like Boy Scout troops. With friends like us, why would our allies need enemies?
The world’s leaders are complaining that Obama’s Democrat government is spying on them. What makes them think they are special or should be treated any differently from how every U.S. citizen is being treated by this government?
It is laudatory that Edward Snowden made Americans aware of the NSA observations. But to announce to the rest of the world its activities directed at them not only affects our diplomatic ties but is treasonous.
When I compare our country to the rest of the world, I am very proud to be an American. I love our Constitution and what it stands for – freedom of education, religion, family, employment, speech, political affiliation, ownership, privacy, etc., and whether or not to strive for the American dream.
They can scream all day long that the tea partiers are unhinged nut balls, but they can’t say that they’re wrong about anything.
Neither the Republicans nor the Democrats seem to understand that both parties contributed their fair share to the national debt. People need to do their homework before pointing the finger.
Why would anyone risk having the police chase them when stealing from the government is so easy?
Obama says we have a right to health care. But if health care is a right, we can demand a doctor treat us at anytime for free. We don’t have a right to someone else’s labor. Health care is not a right.
Kathleen Sebelius said she does not work for her critics – an interesting look at her mindset, as taxpayers actually pay her.
“The calls for Sebelius’ firing are intensifying.” Make it so.
I can’t believe the KWCH survey saying Kansas would vote for a Democrat governor. The last one Kansans elected is causing a lot of problems in the whole nation. Our current governor has been able to make it more possible for small business to come. Other governors are following his model.
Kathleen Sebelius is a perfect fit in the Obama administration – deceitful, arrogant and incompetent. Maybe the Wichita airport should be named after her.
The airport name should start with a “G” to go along with all the others, such as Greater Wichita Area Sports Commission, Greater Wichita Economic Development Coalition, Go Wichita and even Greater Wichita YMCA. Don’t look up Wichita departments under “W.” Greater Wichita World Airport – keeps it in the family.
