I’m going to hook up a flux capacitor to my bicycle, find a very long and steep hill, and go back to a point in time when we had a functional government.
Because of the shameful way this current administration has behaved (ignoring the Constitution, spying on us, infringing on our rights, abusing its power, etc.), I see a big, fat “I told you so” coming. It didn’t have to be this way, but you voted for it.

We shouldn’t rename Wichita’s airport for Dwight Eisenhower. Remember, it was Ike who appointed Earl Warren to the U.S. Supreme Court. Warren did more damage to the Constitution than any other justice in the past 60 years.

The Kansas Department of Revenue recently stated that gay couples married in other states can file joint federal returns in Kansas but not joint state returns. Does KDOR really think it can discriminate by recognizing some legal out-of-state marriages but not others?
Gay marriage needs to become legal. I want to get married someday, too.
