After Gov. Sam Brownback decimated the budget – which shortchanged the poor, the middle class and every college-bound kid in Kansas – the only people who could be forgiven for voting for him in 2014 would be his family. Anyone else should have their head examined.
I joined the Republican Party to vote for people like Insurance Commissioner Sandy Praeger.
Most Americans wouldn’t be living paycheck to paycheck if they weren’t being taxed to death to pay for deadbeats and stupid government programs such as the National Endowment for the Arts. You want arts? You pay for them.
Ads on TV are claiming that crime on the street would be reduced with immigration amnesty. How bogus is that?
Bad behavior is indeed bad, but lying about it is even worse. It’s hard to comprehend Democrats’ defending President Obama through scandal after scandal. The average American seems to understand hypocrisy better than the overpaid stuffed shirts in Washington, D.C.

The Paula Deen thing has nothing to do with what she said or when she said it. It is strictly an attempt to steer public attention away from liberal issues and scandals. The executives at the Food Network are liberal progressives. Deen is being used as this week’s distraction.
It’s not easy being a young mother. But please understand that if your infant is wailing, it’s in need of attention. Ignoring the cries is thoughtless and unkind. Small efforts like touching, patting and gentle rocking can do wonders to soothe and calm.
