I find it odd that those who are so adamantly against our government being involved in our lives are at the same time so fanatical about their constitutional Second Amendment rights – from the Constitution of that very same government.
It’s evident we need better background checks in the government’s free phone giveaway than we do with guns.
Reading Sunday’s Eagle, it became obvious that both parties have wasted their time trying to understand each other. There is no time left for reasoning because the bogeyman is coming for your freedom. Stand up and shake your booty.
Sen. Jay Rockefeller, one of Obamacare’s architects, now describes the health care law as “beyond comprehension.” Maybe they should have asked the Republicans for a few of their thoughts before jamming it through in the dark of night.
Obama has held up the Keystone XL pipeline for how long? Too bad he doesn’t do the same on some of these applications from Muslims to come to the U.S. for education.
Conservatives are living in fear of everything. They want their guns above all else. Stop watching all the conspiracy movies and TV shows. Quit reading the Internet. Half of it isn’t true and the other half is made up.
We wonder how Americans would react if they realized our government has paid to send comedians to India and spent millions to study how goldfish interact and why an artificial squirrel wriggling its tail scares a rattlesnake. Under this president, we have spent taxpayer money on all of the above.
I would like to know the percentage of Bostonians who slept with firearms by the beds while the bombers were on the loose.
Even money says if Mayor Carl Brewer locked down Wichita as Boston’s mayor did, some yahoo would claims his rights were being violated and go out with his gun and either kill someone or get himself killed.
I’m a cat lover, but I don’t love your cat when it’s running loose, prowling my property and killing other animals. You obviously don’t miss your cat, so it will be some time before you realize you are missing it. Pick it up from animal control.
Why are the Carr brothers still alive?
I kind of like the Republican theory that it doesn’t do any good to pass laws, because criminals break them anyway. I’ve come to the belief, as a registered Republican, that we should therefore remove, or at least ignore, all stop signs.
