The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with an M1A2 main battle tank. I sure hope that they don’t fall into the wrong person’s hands.
One girl stabbed to death in California. Church choir members stabbed in New Mexico. When are we going to ban knives? The anti-gun nuts’ logic is that it’s not the person, it’s the man-made instrument he uses that’s the problem.
One out of every five Americans is on food stamps, thanks to Barack Obama, and in his mind that’s a good thing, because it makes those people more dependent on the government and therefore likely to vote for the Democrats.
Since our government already gives away free cellphones, cash and food to illegals, why doesn’t it give free hearing aids to seniors – you know, people who actually worked to support themselves?
The Government Accountability Institute found that Obama spends more time on golf and vacationing than in meetings on the economy. Maybe, just maybe, we won’t succumb to economic destruction after all.
Such resentment against President Bush – why? You liberals can’t even let him enjoy his retirement without trashing him. I wonder what Obama will be doing in his retirement, since he will no longer be able to enjoy flying around in our luxury jet.
So, more than 132,000 civilians killed, more than 6,600 military deaths, and $4 trillion spent in Afghanistan and Iraq, and people still think George W. Bush was a great president.
The government of Cyprus, a tiny European island nation, has threatened to expropriate money deposited by citizens in their local banks. Americans are well aware of the high taxes we pay on earnings, but could our government march into our banks are demand our savings?
If Tim Tebow were not a professed and upstanding Christian, media would not be trying their best to crucify him. Christian haters abound. It is politically correct to hate Christians. If he were Muslim, media would be crying the blues and coming to his defense.
I wish our city leaders would spend our tax money fixing streets and helping the poor, instead of giving millions to their campaign contributors.
When I was at the intersection of 21st and Maize, I was amazed by how many drivers approached a red light and drove through it. If the city has the courage to install cameras at major intersections, I hope that intersection gets one first.
