I don’t understand conservatives’ need to regulate immigration. Isn’t it just the unimpeded flow of human capital? Government shouldn’t be involved.
For all you evolution nonbelievers: Take a trip to Washington, D.C., and look at all the politicians “evolving” on gay marriage. It would make Charles Darwin proud.
There is no evidence that people are born homosexual. No genetic cause has ever been found. Why would God create homosexuality and then condemn it? Atheists want us to believe God creates sin.
I’m looking forward to the day that Democrats have killed off all legitimate businesses and everyone either works for the government or gets welfare. Then watch each government department try to eat every other government department at the expense of the poor.
Filibuster – the cowardly politician’s favorite weapon.

Keep guns out of the hands of the mentally deranged. If you own the gun, keep it locked and secured. Do something that will work instead of just doing something that sounds good – like gun-free zones, where only deranged gunmen can carry.
The Kansas Statehouse is beautiful. Renovated with an overbudget multimillion-dollar price tag, it is nearly finished. All it needs now are statues depicting corporate logos and an inviting red light over the front door.
Let me get this straight: Kansas legislators passed bills this year to allow some guns in schools and legalize switchblade knives, but they have conniption fits over having Champagne and wine at a Statehouse reception?
Wake up, Wichita. It’s time to get behind something truly meaningful (“Officials seek support for bringing tankers to base,” April 8 Local & State). If we lose our Air Force base, it’s going to be far more detrimental than losing a basketball game.
Don’t think for a second that any liberal-minded referee could be fair against a university’s basketball team linked to Charles Koch.
Really, Coach Marshall? “Drive angry”?
