North Korea has approved a nuke strike on the United States. Would somebody please send this delusional, clapping little wannabe dictator pictures of Bin Laden’s and Saddam’s funerals?
George W. Bush led our country into a senseless and extremely expensive war in Iraq, where “weapons of mass destruction” did not exist. Now we know such weapons exist in North Korea with threats they will be used against us. It’s too bad Bush got his countries mixed up.
I believe we already had dumb and dumber as president and vice president. They left office five years ago.
Gun control. Sounds like drug control. How’s that working out for you?
If you do not want the government to have the national gun-control background check on you for the rest of your life, vote “no” for any new gun-control law. If they would destroy the record after you pass and not levy fees on you, that would be OK. They will never do that.
If any legislators’ private-sector income relied on the food industry, health care, housing or job creating, this would be a whole different world. Since all the tax-cut bills are geared toward the rich and funded by special-interest groups, our Kansas government is bought and sold. They only look out for themselves.
Most of the Bible is historically accurate. Do your research before commenting.
I never have understood why people will believe what is written in history books, but not the Bible. The Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ were witnessed by many people.
I was very disappointed in The Eagle for its lack of coverage after the Winter Jam concert. Every year this concert has the highest attendance of any event at Intrust Bank Arena. Where were the pictures or stories?
An answer for the person asking what non-NBA-bound NCAA basketball players would do at their job interviews: long-sleeve shirts.
WSU is behind the eight ball on Saturday with the whole country cheering Louisville out of sympathy for Kevin Ware and all his teammates trying to “win one for the Gipper.” Ignore it, Shockers, and play your game.
To use coach Gregg Marshall’s verbiage, there are a lot chickenhawks (Jayhawks) supporting WSU this weekend. It doesn’t mean this tourney run makes it financially prudent for KU to play WSU, but we do support Marshall and this Shocker team.
