Clearly, the only qualifications Chuck Hagel has is that he was a young man in Vietnam and is liked by President Obama and the rest of the unthinking uninformed. He is incompetent.
The Republicans vilify Hillary Clinton for actions or inaction that may have contributed to the deaths of four Americans. Their selective memory must not recall that President Bush began an unjustified war in Iraq that led to more than 100,000 deaths, including those of nearly 4,500 U.S. service personnel.
Obama is suspending his jobs council. He has secured his job for four more years, so there is no need to put up the facade that he cares about anyone else’s job.

There was a fire in a nightclub in Santa Maria, Brazil, where 230 souls lost their lives. It was caused by pyrotechnics. They should pass a law banning any more than one candle, and it should be no larger than a birthday candle.
I’ve had two surgeries at Surgicare in the past five years. The people there could not have been more professional, and my outcome on both occasions was more than I could have hoped for. Congratulations to them on their new digs.
